A Career Built At HardRock

From Labor Hand to Maxi Rig Foreman: Andres’ 13 Year Journey at HardRock Infrastructure

Meet Andres, a Maxi-Rig crew leader at HardRock Infrastructure who has spent the past 13 years building a career in the HDD industry. His journey began shortly after high school, when he visited his uncle, who worked at HardRock. What began as a visit turned into a career. Over the years, he gained the experience and knowledge needed to move up through the industry. Today, he leads a crew operating a million-pound HDD rig and has been running rigs for the past eight years. Andres started out just like anyone else entering the trade, learning the work from the ground up and earning his way into a leadership role.

Throughout his time at HardRock, Andres has built more than a career. He met his wife during his years in the industry, and began raising a family while working the long hours that come with HDD. He shares that balancing work and family was difficult at first, but looking back, he says it has all been worth it. His story is a reminder that a career in HDD can offer opportunities to learn, grow, and build a future through hard work and dedication.

Andres represents the growth and commitment that make HardRock Infrastructure proud to have him on the team.
