About Us
HDDContractor.com exists to give the horizontal directional drilling industry more visibility. Everyone deserves to have their story told.
More than 10 years in the making.
Anthony founded the site after finding his way into the horizontal directional drilling industry and realizing pretty quickly that HDD deserved more attention than it was getting. Over the years, he has worked throughout the industry in marketing, media, content and communications, spending time on jobsites, at trade shows and with the people who actually do the work.
Today, Anthony works with DrilRite and HardRock Infrastructure and volunteers with the HDDA. His niece, Courtney Britz, has also joined the business and is learning the industry while helping with the work behind the scenes.

Our Mission
We love HDD, and we think it should be shown off more than it has been in the past.
Talking about dirt, drilling fluid and putting things underground might not sound exciting to everybody, but the people in this industry know there is a lot more to it than that. There are difficult projects, impressive equipment, skilled crews and some great stories behind the work.
A big part of what we do has always been trying to change the way the industry is presented. We want the people doing this work to be proud of it. We want companies to have a better way to show what they do. And we want people who are new to HDD to see an industry they can get excited about being part of.
Where we work
We’re based in San Antonio, Texas, but our work takes us all over the country.
You’ll see us on jobsites conducting interviews, taking photos and shooting video, and you’ll usually find us at the major HDD trade shows and conferences throughout the year.
The site is continuing to grow. Right now, it gives us a place to share the work and stories we come across. Our goal is to keep expanding HDDContractor.com into a resource the entire HDD industry can use.
We love this trade, and we want to help more people see why.
